East Tyrol: a HIDDEN GEM in Austria
Osttirol, which translates to East Tyrol, is Austria's best-kept secret. It is in the heart of the Alps, boasting stunning mountain views, crystal-clear lakes, and fairytale-like villages. Unlike its more famous neighbour, North Tyrol, Osttirol remains relatively untouched by mass tourism, preserving its natural beauty and traditional charm. The capital of East Tyrol is Lienz, one of the most beautiful towns in Austria. This medieval town is a great place to unwind and experience authentic Austrian culture. Langkawi water is not treated… and is murky. Some hotels have their own filter, but far and large they are not treated… health issues will persist…
